The U13 Summer Skills program is open to players born in 2012, 2013, or 2014 who have either played for Pioneer in 2024, or are interested in joining a Pioneer U13/U15/U16 team or trialing for an SIPT team in 2025. This program emphasizes individual skills using BBNZ age-appropriate models and the CBA Style of Play.

Players will have an opportunity to learn individual skills in an encouraging and challenging environment. Because this is a short term program, the focus for the 6 weeks is on individual game skills. Coaches and staff will touch on training habits but will not be focused on due to the time frame. Coaches will work with players to develop ball handling, shooting, defensive, rebounding and passing skills.
