TWO NEW REFEREE PROGRAMS!
‘Return to the whistle’ and ‘Pick up a Whistle’ are two new programs we want you to get involved in!
Basketball is an increasingly popular sport and it’s vital that we help keep the game safe, fun and fair. That is where you come in!
We are looking to increase the Pioneer referee whānau and need as many adults, passionate rangitahi and players to pick up a whistle and give it a go…. and for those of you with prior experience behind the whistle, we want to empower you to pick it back up!
Our Pilot referee development programs are designed to be fun, encouraging and get you comfortable being uncomfortable on the court. We have Legendary referee/referee trainer, Karin Berrysmith leading the way with these courses and with 5 referee trainers within our club structure, you’ll be very well supported on your journey!
